FormaServe Training Terms & Conditions
This page provides you with our training terms & conditions for
Public Training, In-House Training as well as Delegate Information
and our Limitation of Liability.
Some of our training rooms are not easily accessible to students with mobility constraints; if you have any physical requirements please make us aware at time of booking to ensure we can cater for your needs.
Public Training
Fees
Course fees cover the cost of training materials and books
supplied by us, use of appropriate facilities, lecturer's time,
refreshments, provision of lunch and any room or equipment rental we
undertake.
Public courses may be undertaken using portable equipment such as
laptop computers and may be in rented accommodation such as a hotel
conference room or similar. Customers agree that they understand and
accept this and shall advise FormaServe if this is likely to be
inappropriate for the delegate's concerned.
An official Purchase Order will be required to confirm the booking of a student's place and this will be taken as acceptance of all our normal Terms and Conditions.
An Invoice will then be produced and require paying before the start of the course.
FormaServe reserves the right to refuse admission to delegates
whose fees remain unpaid at the time of the course commencing.
Changing Delegate Details
FormaServe will make no charge if a substitute delegate wishes to
replace the original delegate. Please call our training team to
inform them of any change.
Transfers
If a delegate wishes to transfer a booking to a later course
within 14 working days of the original course commencing there will
be a 25% administration charge.
If that transfer is then cancelled, the course fee remains
payable in full.
Transfer requests must be received in writing and the date on
which the letter/fax/email is received by FormaServe will be deemed
as the date the cancellation has been made.
Cancellations
If a delegate withdraws from a course or date, for whatever
reason, after confirmation is received by FormaServe, a fee of 25%
of the full course cost will be charged.
If a delegate withdraws from a course or date, for whatever
reason, within 14 working days of the course commencing, the fee
will remain payable in full.
Cancellations must be received in writing and the date on which
the letter/fax/email is received by FormaServe will be deemed as the
date the cancellation has been made.
Force Majeure
FormaServe makes every possible attempt to run all courses;
however, FormaServe reserves the right to cancel any course for
whatever reason at any time.
FormaServe will not be liable for costs incurred by the delegate.
All fees already paid to FormaServe will be refunded immediately.
In-house Training
Fees
Individual in-house courses will be quoted upon request.
Quoted charges cover tuition, a full set of course notes and a
set of exercises per delegate.
Additional rechargeable costs are the entire tutor's expenses including, but not limited to:-
Travel via public transport or mileage, taken from the car trip meter, at 40p per mile.
Accommodation, including the night before the course starts, if held further than 25 miles from our offices, at a Holiday Inn or equivalent.
Subsistence expenses including evening meal, breakfast and lunch, if not provided. As an example, the evening meal would consist of 2 courses plus drinks, at a local restaurant.
Tutors expenses are re-billed at cost and will be arranged by FormaServe.
An official Purchase Order will be required to confirm the booking of a student's place and this will be taken as acceptance of all our normal Terms and Conditions.
After the course has been completed, an invoice will be produced covering both the Fees and the Instructors Expenses.
This invoice will require payment within 14 days of receipt.
Client Responsibilities
FormaServe recommends these courses do not contain more than
eight delegates, which is our recommended maximum.
In extreme cases it may be possible to stretch the size of groups
up to twelve, but we advise against such large classes since the
supervision during exercises will necessarily suffer.
For In-house courses, FormaServe states that customers are
responsible for arranging the logistics of in-house training. In
particular, customers are responsible for (but not limited to) the
provision of:
- An equipped training room
- Personal Computers with all necessary software installed and
configured, with any required access to IBM System i servers
- Delegates & instructor refreshments
- Visual aids, including, a whiteboard or flipchart, a
projector suitable for connecting to a laptop computer and a
screen to project onto
We may be able to provide equipment suitable for the delivery of
in-house training for a negotiable additional fee.
Changing Delegate Details
FormaServe will make no charge if a substitute delegate wishes to
replace the original delegate. Please call our training team to
inform them of any change.
Re-scheduling and Cancellations
Cancellations/re-scheduling made earlier than 20 working days
prior to the agreed training date will incur a cancellation fee
equal to 40% of the total course cost to cover administration and
trainer's charges.
Cancellation or re-scheduling of in-company training within 20
working days of the agreed date(s) will be considered a cancellation
of the original agreement, and a 60% cancellation fee will apply.
All cancellations or re-scheduling requests must be received in
writing by fax or post. The date of reschedule or cancellation will
be taken as the date the written notification is received by
FormaServe.
Force Majeure
FormaServe makes every possible attempt to run all courses;
however, FormaServe reserves the right to cancel any course for
whatever reason at any time.
FormaServe will not be liable for costs incurred by the delegate.
All fees already paid to FormaServe will be refunded immediately.
